Home to 112 million people, Egypt, Africa's second-largest economy, shows high mobile and internet penetration rates. With digital commerce penetration at 37%, the market is poised to double to USD 17 billion by 2026, fueled by a growing young demographic with rising disposable income.

Ghana has around 33 million people, and it's known for its stability. With an internet penetration rate of about 72%, the country's digital commerce is expected to grow 73% between 2023 and 2027.

Among the top 10 largest African economies and home to over 65 million people, Tanzania has a burgeoning online population. The internet penetration is 29% in 2023, while its GDP should grow 59.35% between 2023 and 2028.

Zambia

With a population of approximately 20 million, Zambia is in the midst of digital transformation. Although internet penetration is only at 27%, it is expected to grow by 27.5% through the next five years.

Uganda

With a population of approximately 47 million, Uganda has been experiencing steady economic growth. As of recent data, the internet penetration rate is 27%, showcasing excellent room for digital expansion in the coming years, while its GDP should grow 58.1% between 2023 and 2028.

Ivory Coast

Home to almost 28 million people, Ivory Coast has an above-average internet penetration. As of 2023, 48% of the population had internet access, and the country's GDP should grow 44.26% between 2023 and  2028.

Senegal

With a population of nearly 17 million, Senegal stands out as a well-connected African nation by the region's standards. 51% of its population will have internet access in 2023, and the country anticipates a 39% GDP growth between 2023 and 2028.
